People come to coaching for all sorts of different
reasons, but generally they want to either achieve something or
to change something. Most people's goals are either performance
goals (such earning more money; de-cluttering); learning
goals (such as improving public speaking; increasing confidence)
or fulfilment goals (such having a better work / life balance;
improving relationships). Often these overlap, and a good coach
will work across all three.
Coaching for Change comes in blocks of 12 sessions
- starting with establishing exactly what it you want to change
or achieve, and drawing up a plan of how to get you there, how
to get you motivated and stay motivated.
If you have any questions or aren't sure how coaching
could help you with the specific changes and achievements you want
to make, please contact me. I offer a free
trial session so you can see how it works.

"...Recognize the huge costs to businesses
of losing highly educated women when they start their families."
Executive Women and the Myth of Having
it All by S A Hewlett, Harvard Business Review, April 2002
"80% of women return to work
within 17 months of childbirth but only 47% return to the same
job with the same
employer."
EOC's interim report into part-time and flexible working: Feb 2005
Losing talented members of staff has been calculated
at costing approximately three and five times of salary, so all
other considerations aside, it makes financial sense to support
through female members of staff through their pregnancy and during
their first few months back at work.
Returning to work after a baby
can be a difficult transition for women and maternity coaching
helps women build their own strategy to manage this. It offers
them support and
helps them to be more focused, more confident and better performers
at
home and at work.
Please contact me if you
would like to arrange a meeting to discuss maternity coaching for
you or your staff.
