career coaching|
The designer Milton Glaser believed that work could be
broken down into these four categories:
"... Work that goes beyond
its functional intention, and moves us in deep and mysterious
ways, we
call great work.
... Work that is conceived and executed
with elegance and rigour we call good
work.
...
Work that meets
its intended need honestly and without pretence we
call simply
work.
...
And everything
else, the sad and shoddy
stuff of daily life, can
come under the heading of bad
work."
If, like many people, you feel trapped
doing "bad
work" or just "work", when what you’d
really like to feel is the satisfaction of having
a rewarding job,
then career coaching could
be for you.
Career coaching helps thousands of people find the
right path and gives them the focus and support to achieve their
goals. And that’s even if they don’t even think they
know what their goals are!
My career coaching programme is a structured, 12-session
process, which can give you the chance to:
Decide what you want
to change, even if you’re not sure.
Work out where your skills lie and what really motivates you.
Use your experience to create realistic goals.
Make
a practical plan to bridge from where you are now to where you
want to be.
Sound good? It is. And what’s great about my
programme is that it’s done over the phone. You just have
to decide on the best time to call me for our sessions, and of
course be willing to put in a bit of extra work on your own between
each one.
And if you don’t feel the programme is working
for you, don’t worry, you’re not tied in for the whole
12 weeks. In fact you can cancel at any time; I just ask for one
week's notice.
You can even decide how much of the programme you
want to do! There are four different options for you to choose
from:

"Well
the coaching must have worked, I've been offered a new job.
I start in three weeks.
I
was able go through all my skills in the interview like we practiced
and I didn't clam up like I used too.
A very positive change seems to have happened!"
