"Coaches
are trained to listen, to observe and to customize their approach
to individual
client needs.
They seek to elicit solutions and strategies from
the client; they believe the client is naturally creative and resourceful.
The
coach's job is to provide support to enhance the skills, resources,
and creativity that the client already has."

"I asked Cat to work with one of my team
who showed real potential but was struggling to move upwards because
of a real lack of confidence
at promotion selection stage.
The results were phenomenal and visible
almost immediately - to both the team and to our clients, who
were delighted with the change. By the time the next opportunity
came around, it felt like we were working with a different person
- the change in outward presentation and confidence was profound.
We will definitely be working with Cat again."

" Well
the coaching must have worked, I've been offered a new job. I
start in three
weeks.
When
preparing
for the interview
I thought back to what we went through in our sessions, I was
able go through all my skills in the interview like we practiced and
I didn't clam up like I used too. It was my first interview since
our sessions so a very positive change seems to have happened!"

"
From the outset,
I was sceptical of this thing called Life Coaching. My perception
of
it was of
a controlling and frankly
contrived self-indulgence. This was certainly not the experience
I had when
I was attending sessions with Cat. Prior to any form of coaching,
Cat outlined clearly how she worked. What I remember most about
that explanation was that she would act as a kind of sounding
board, because
that is exactly what happened.
Coming out of a relationship, looking to buy a flat for the first
time, considering future career options - there was a lot of change
going on. Coaching sessions with Cat consisted of simply being
able to discuss these issues and bringing into focus the one common
factor in each situation: myself. That does sound self-indulgent,
but Cat has a unique ability to identify traits and probe further
than you sometimes want to yourself. It was not always comfortable,
but Cat put me at ease and worked through the issues that appeared.
This assisted me to analyse my actions, decisions, choices. And
now I feel I make decisions and communicate with others with a
confidence in myself.
I wasn't looking to talk about myself, but I believe Cat has a
valuable talent for listening and observing which helped me. The
coaching never became a crutch to boost my self-importance. It
added another tool to assist in getting the most out of my life.
I would not hesitate to recommend Cat's coaching as a different
way to approach things."
